Every company has a culture, whether it’s intentional or not. The most successful companies and businesses tend to place a high value on creating and maintaining a culture that fundamentally supports the company mission, vision, and values. When the company culture supports these business vitals, day to day management and operations become easier and customer satisfaction levels are improved because there’s an absence of resistance and tension with the team.
You may have heard the quote “Culture Eats Strategy for Breakfast,” by Peter Drucker. In a book inspired by the Drucker’s quote, “Culture Eats Strategy for Lunch,” the authors outline how to turn culture into a competitive advantage. It’s a great read!
