We’ve all heard the saying, “a picture is worth a thousand words.”
When CEOs and business owners are exploring the idea of joining a LXCouncil group, they always want to know what actually occurs at a monthly group meeting. We recently created an infographic that helps illustrate what our members experience, as well as the outcome. We like to describe it as “actionable leadership intelligence.”
Each meeting begins with what we call, MY TRANSITION. This is a mindset check-in where each members reports how they’re feeling on a business and/or personal level, provides a business update, shares any best practices and ideas they’ve gleaned or implemented over the month that other members might benefit from, and reports the status of the commitment they made for their business from the previous month.
From there, the meeting shifts into PROACTIVE LEARNING. Our “Lead & Achieve” series focuses on topics, tools, and resources relevant to CEOs and business owners. While it’s moderator presented, it results in a group discussion and reflection on how the topic is relevant or useful in their own businesses. In addition, throughout the year, each member presents their strategic plan or provides a deep dive look into their business so other members have a better of understanding and can better assist or advise with questions or challenges.
In the next phase of the meeting, COPI PROCESSING, members have the opportunity to present a specific question or business challenge to the group for insight, advice, feedback, or validation. Here, members directly benefit from the advice and experiences of the other CEOs and business leaders around the table who have faced similar challenges or opportunities. Best practices, risk management solutions, and problem solving are common themes in this phase of the meeting.
As we wrap up each meeting, members are asked to share their biggest take-away, as well as offer a commitment for an action (or actions) they plan to take in the next 30 days and will report back to the group the following month.
Our members leave LXCouncil meetings feeling motivated and committed to advancement and growth in their businesses. They are also empowered with knowledge, experience, validation, confidence, best practices and ideas – actionable leadership intelligence.
If you’re ready to take your business and leadership skills to the next level, and if you think your business could benefit from the experienced counsel of other business leaders and CEOs, let’s start a conversation. LXCouncil may be the perfect next step!
