Kansas City, MO, March 1, 2017 – LXCouncil, the premier creator of peer advisory councils for business leaders in multiple states has chosen Eric Hansen to moderate new councils in Kansas City to accommodate future growth.
LXCouncil specializes in curating small groups of business leaders in non-competing industries to participate in monthly professionally facilitated council meetings. During these meetings, group members seek and give advice based on their experiences owning or leading their companies.
As a moderator, Eric will quietly encourage open dialogue while gently directing discussions toward leadership growth and personal learning specific to the unique challenges of human resource professional leaders. Essential to productive council meetings, good moderating requires unique interjection skills, which Eric possesses.
“Just as we hand-pick our peer council participants, we also hand-pick our moderators in each marketplace throughout the U.S.,” said Tina Corner, Founder of LXCouncil. “We are excited to have a professional like Eric with local business knowledge and a breadth of human resource leadership experience join our team and build on our unique strategic partnership with CBIZ with this particular niche peer group. Eric comes to us with a solid background successfully managing and consulting with business executives leading to significant growth and business transformation for over 25 years.”
Holding a variety of management and executive positions for corporations such as The May Company, Intel, AT&T Capital, Cargill, the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Hallmark Cards, Inc. he partnered with senior leaders to define business strategies, identify and build key capabilities, and to optimize the configuration and development of the physical and human assets to deliver value to the markets and customers they serve. Eric is the co-author of “Rising to Power: The Journey of Exceptional Executives” resulting from a ten-year study of leaders and focused on supporting transitioning executives to successfully assume roles of increasing scope and responsibility.
“LXCouncil operates on the principle that the answer is in the room,” said Eric. “I share this philosophy that when you pull together smart, committed and experienced people they can break through barriers, solve problems, and accelerate their personal development. It is a privilege to work with these local executives to support them having an increased positive impact on their businesses.”
Eric began moderating his first meetings in February with the launch of a new group.
